Captain Jack - Repair base
|
Scope of Project - Captain Jack is a zinc figure that was toppled off its pedestal by vandals. The base was badly shattered and
many pieces were lost. After the remaining parts were reattached, the huge gaps were filled with molten metal. These areas were ground and sculpted to properly match the original surface. The
bottom edge of the base was ground perfectly flat to assure equal weight distribution.
